Day 2 at BBC Gardeners World Live. A great start to the show for us, the staff from Nordic Garden Buildings and GBC were busy all day, lots of really interested people and orders due over the coming days.
The Scanline ‘Guernsey’ Summerhouse was especially popular on day 1 at BBC Gardeners World Live. The small footprint and potential to use the space in a multitude of ways really captured people’s imagination. The summerhouse was presented to show its use as a garden retreat with a small bistro table, chairs and shelving for growing. As they say, the best things come in small packages.
Obviously the show is not just about the presentation of consumer products but the beautiful designs in the show garden area, highlighting the skills of well-known gardeners from the TV and from the horticultural world.
We took a walk around this morning before the crowds descended to take a few pictures for you to take a look at, this gives you a real feel for what the show is about and why Gardeners World Live continues to be one of the best events in the Gardening calendar.
A walk around the show gardens and the Floral Marquee is a feast for the senses, the colors and scents are all amazing.
The guest speakers at this year’s event include Monty Don, Alan Titchmarsh, Carol Klein, Joe Swift, James Alexander-Sinclair and many more.

As well as the expert speakers and presenters there are a number of experts that may not be on the ‘front line’ when it comes to consumer profile but these experts and business’s are the key to a successful show and even more key to the wonderful gardens on display. One such company is Rectory Garden Plants, based in Cheshire, they continue to provide wonderful plants for award winning gardens at this event and RHS shows across the country.
