Nordic Garden Buildings are committed to excellence; we are currently investing heavily in the CE Mark approval for our garden building and conservatory roofs.
What is a CE Mark though and why should it give our customers confidence?
The letters ‘CE’ appear on many products that are into the European Economic Area (EEA). This consists of 27 member states of the EU and the European Free Trade Association countries – Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. The CE marking is required for many products and attests the verification by a manufacturer that these products meet EU safety, health or environmental requirements
We have a fantastic story in relation to the stability and strength of our buildings. A hugely important test for Nordic Garden Buildings due to our popularity across Scandinavia is the “snow load” test. This test proves that not only can our buildings withstand snow loads exceeding EEA requirements but actually meets the same stringent results required for multi storey car parks….. So the question is …… could we park a car on our roof….. watch this space!
The testing procedures & planning began months ago and are now reaching their conclusion, with final testing at our Abercarn facility near Newport, South Wales. These are our first officially released images but over the coming weeks we will release more images and video’s explaining what we did and how our Pavilions, Orangeries, Conservatories and other garden buildings are some of the safest in Europe.
